UNHCR Chief visits KTP Rohingya Refugee Camp
 The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, has visited Rohingya Refugees camps in Cox's Bazar and talked to Myanmar’s Rohingya minority people, who fled to Bangladesh due to persecution.

UNHCR Chief Filippo Grandi visited to two Rohingya refugee camps -- one registered and another unregistered -- at Kutupalong in Ukhiya Upazila around noon. He has talked to the refugees for one and half an hour there. The Rohingya Refugees has submitted their demands into UNHCR chief hand and other team members too. According @dailystarnews he didn’t talk with journalists and said that he will brief media in Dhaka tomorrow. He will meet Cox’s Bazar deputy commissioner in the afternoon according.

Filippo arrived in Dhaka on Saturday on a three-day trip. He met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal yesterday. He also met Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on Saturday, to discuss the refugee situation.

Earlier, Grandi visited Myanmar and met top government leaders, including State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi. He also visited Rakhine state and met with displaced Muslims in Sittwe's Dar Paing camp and Maungdaw and urged Myanmar to grant citizenship to the Rohingyas.
