BGB sends back 250 more Rohingyas

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members have sent back 250 Rohingyas, who were trying to enter Bangladesh on 19 boats to flee persecution in Myanmar's Rakhine state.

BGB personnel prevented the trespassing at two different points of Naf River early Saturday.

Teknaf 2 BGB Commander Lt Col Abujar Al Zahid said: “BGB patrol boats sent back those Rohingyas when they were trying to enter Bangladesh territory.”

“We have tightened the vigilance at different points along the border to stop Rohingya intrusion,” the BGB commander added.

BGB sent back 972 Rohingyas within one week into northern Rakhine State, who are fleeing from genocidal atrocities in Maungdaw by Myanmar Army and Border Guard Police (BGP). The Rohingyas to whom Bangladesh pushed / sent back are unknown either they reached back or reached into the jaws of crocodile (Myanmar Army & BGP), may be no one alive (shot along the river as usual) or all in prison.
