Breaking News: Atrocities of Myanmar Army continues in the
presence of Mr.Annan
Chair of the Advisory
Commission Kofi Annan arrived in Yangon on Tuesday 29 November. The Commission
visited Sittwe at 8:25AM on 2.12.16 and has been planned to visit Maungdaw
tomorrow. Some about 70 Rakhines led by ANP party protested against the
Commission on their arrival (according RFA Burmese). A meeting was taken place
at the government's guest house of Sittwe where Mr. Annan emphasized
humanitarian aids saying "Security operations must not impede humanitarian
access where there is need". While Commission was discussing about
humanitarian aids, Myanmar army was burying humanity in Maungdaw.

In #KyetYoePyinVT 270 houses & about 200 shops in Village market have been burned to ash burned to ash by #MyanmarArmy. Many Raped and killed, mass graves of Rohingyas available, villagers unable to state freely.
@RakhineComm visit: Left at about 01pm MST: About 30 #Rohingyas including women were met with @RakhineComm in #KyetYoePyinVT #MGDNorth. As soon as commission left, #MyanmarArmy have been confined them in school then selective village elders including U #Jawbu (above 60, arrested in last time too) are arrested and taken away by #MyanmarArmy. Later after two hours released them all including U Jawbu, 2 men and a woman were mercilessly beaten in a hidden place while commission was in the village tract.

Myanmar army and Rakhine
extremists looted properties of Rohingya in Myaw Taung Village Tract of
Maungdaw from 11AM to 3:30PM, 02.12.16. Last week, Myanmar troops torched 15
homes Rohingya, raped 5 women and arrested seven people. Aung Aung got to contact a
person named Muhammad Rafique aged 56, from that village at 6PM. He has explained in detail below, about the looting of his home and others.
Aung Aung: :What time army and Rakhine
came to loot your properties?
Md Raqiue: : They came at 10AM,
started looting at 11AM.
Aung Aung: : How did you know they
were coming and why did you leave from your home?
Md Raqiue: : At 9AM, a police
by a bike, came and said "Troops are coming, be ready to face them or
leave to save your lives". As we are sparrows who have been hit with
stones afraid of them and left the village.
Aung Aung: : How do you know army
looted your properties?
Md Rafique: : When they entered
our village, we were watching from distance and saw that they were carrying our
things by their trucks. And when we returned home at 5:30PM, everything is
missing including rice and cloths in the cupboard. If Commission comes here, we
can show the proofs.
Aung Aung: : How do you know Rakhine
accompanied with the army?
Md Rafique : We saw them, they
were in civilian dress.
Aung Aung: : How many houses were
looted by the army today.
Md. Rafique : All of them, more
than 200 houses. They emptied our homes.
According another source, Town
Administrator and other officers went to KyaGaungTaung and YaeKhetChaungKwaSone
Village Tract for a survey to deceive the Annan Commission on 03/12/2016. Two boats
of Rohingya leaving to Bangladesh were attacked by Myanmar Army and arrested 48 persons
in MinGlarGyi of Maungdaw and another 25 Rohingya were arrested in
YaeDwinKyunVT of northern Maungdaw.
