Ending of British Colonialism in South Asia left with Non-Decided
States between countries along Borders. Some territories were not belonging to
any countries like Kashmir. Some was included to country but population of that
territory was not same with capital religion like Punjab. Countries Later
involved in conflicts or solved the problem within them. Some States along
border divided into two to end geographical conflict. Some states exchanged
their residents balancing with their related religion.

China: http://www.economist.com/blogs/dailychart/2011/05/indian_pakistani_and_chinese_border_disputes
In August, 1947, when, after three hundred years in India,
the British finally left, the subcontinent was partitioned into two independent
nation states: Hindu-majority India and Muslim-majority Pakistan. Immediately,
there began one of the greatest migrations in human history, as millions of
Muslims trekked to West and East Pakistan (the latter now known as Bangladesh)
while millions of Hindus and Sikhs headed in the opposite direction. Many
hundreds of thousands never made it.
Within a few months, the landscape of South Asia had changed
irrevocably. In 1941, Karachi, designated the first capital of Pakistan, was
47.6 per cent Hindu. Delhi, the capital of independent India, was one-third
Muslim.
Jinnah, who had succeeded in creating a new country,
regarded the truncated state he was given—a slice of India’s eastern and
western extremities, separated by a thousand miles of Indian territory—as “a
maimed, mutilated and moth-eaten” travesty of the land he had fought for. He
warned that the partition of Punjab and Bengal “will be sowing the seeds of
future serious trouble.”
But there are still remains some states with difference
religion against national.
Kashmir: the only
Muslim-majority area to remain within India.
Statistics from the 2011 Census India: Population by
religious community: http://www.censusindia.gov.in/2011census/C-01.html
Kashmir with 96% Muslim Community is a state of India which
is completely opposes with major religion of India. though the Muslims there
are provided with highly national privileges from govt.
Punjab – Sikhism is the majority religion in Punjab practiced
by 57.69% of the population. Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Buddhism and
Christianity are the other religions followed in the state. People from
different religions co-exist with harmony with the difference of religion
against Majority of India Punjab is a state where Sikh are completely
experiencing entire national facilities there.
Tibet– Religion is extremely important to the Tibetans and
has a strong influence over all aspects of their lives. The major influence is
Tibetan Buddhism which is different Than Mainstream Chinese Buddhism.
Along the conflict for political and geographical domination
there Tibetan Buddhist are firmly enjoying nationality of china.
Bengal– after Partition of India-Pakistan the province of Bengal was divided into the two separate entities
of West Bengal belonging to India, and East Bengal (Now Bangladesh) belongs to
Pakistan. East Bengal was renamed East
Pakistan in 1955, and later became the independent nation of Bangladesh after
the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971.

While the Muslim majority districts of Murshidabad and Malda
were given to India, the Hindu majority district of Khulna and the majority
Buddhist, but sparsely populated Chittagong Hill Tracts was given to Pakistan
by the award.
Even where no possibility to generate a state for major
religion residents there is practiced exchange but never rejection of giving
nationality.
Recently Bangladesh and India exchanged their enclave
population balancing on religion but they are also added to their chosen
countries nationality which will grant them the whole dimension of priorities
as a national, 51,000 peoples to decide whether they want to be Bangladeshi or
Indian citizens. They are at the heart of the exchange between India and
Bangladesh following the ratification of the land boundary agreement by the two
countries recently.
But the strange is when a peace Nobel Winner and a symbol of
democracy Suu Kyi wont effort to follow such peaceful way in matter of Arakan (Rakhine)
state where the Muslims are majority.
Suu Kyi is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1BRn360e2M
The Gov of current leading party NLD is not trying to
generate the Arakan state For Muslim Rather accepting them as nationals. More
than that is shocking when the so calling democratic government is silent and
committing genocide against Muslim there.
Humanity is defeated when a Buddhist Monk is not agreeing to
be peaceful with another human being with claiming the Buddhism is a religion
of full peace.
When the Holy Land of Muslim Saudi Arabia has 1,000,000
Christians besides many Hindus and Buddhists How it could not possible for
Myanmar to be existed with a state of Muslim majority and so on providing them
nationality that the only way to successful democracy and to be a developed
country.
