Mr.Ko
Ko Linn, a senior Rohingya activist expressed his view on his Facebook
wall is here below:
“Do a complete annihilation of Rohingya is the durable
solution?
The Bangladesh government
directive said that they are moving to relocate tens of thousands of Rohingya
Muslim refugees to Thengar Char, an isolated and dangerous island in the Bay of
Bengal before being repatriated them to Myanmar.
In other hand, it is not
clear that when do the repatriation process will be started, still it is not
sure that the government of Burma either will take back the Rohingyas or not.
The situation of Rohingya
Muslims in Bangladesh is not merely difference than in Burma. They are treated
the same as in Burma by either the government officials including law enforcers
or civilians in Bangladesh.
Burma wants their territory only
on which their settlement was generated for centuries but not the peoples and
Bangladesh wants to keep hidden the fact that the Chittagong was being a part
of Arakan which is now Rakhine State of Myanmar.
These two countries are
collaboratively seemed in the same encouragement in annihilating the Rohingyas
wholly and the rest of the worlds are going to fund them by making strong
economic tie on it.
It seems the durable
solution for Rohingya crisis is “only annihilation of these helpless peoples,
Rohingya”.
Another activist, who doesn’t
to name here said, “The Island where Bangladesh planned to relocate the
Rohingya is much dangerous than the ongoing carnage in northern Rakhine State,
escaped to save their lives into Bangladesh. The Island is unreachable except
winter, is in Bay of Bengal, still not prompting in Google map too. In high
tide of rainy season sea level reach up to 7 feet, almost everywhere of the
Island. UN agencies, donors and world Medias are inaccessible there except
winter season. If all Rohingya died at once with the flood “who will be
responsible.””
According Bangldeshi local
peoples of Hatiya Dip of Noakhali District, “It will take dozen of years to
stay peoples there; living there can die all at once, May Allah save the
Rohingyas.”
Bangladeshi overseas workers from Saudi Arabia, proposed to save their lives and to relocate the Rohingya refugees along the mountainous and remote area of Hill Tract. Their relocation can advantage for Bangladesh in agriculture and forestry sector as they are mostly working in those sectors.
