Myanmar’s BGP and Army are license “Robbers”


The Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP) robbed goats belonged to a helpless Rohingya woman in northern Maungdaw on Feb 21, Tuesday.

At around 12:00 noon on Tuesday a group of the BGP personnel from the Sector 6 camp in northern Maungdaw travelling towards the downtown on a van. The BGP caught some goats grazing by the Kyikanpyin (Hawar Bil)-Maungdaw Expressway, put them on the van and took them away.

The livestock belonged to ‘Ms. Mariam d/o Noor Ali, 32, from Kyikanpyin, a helpless mother of three children estranged from her husband when he got jailed in Malaysia after he fled from Myanmar to escape violence.

She, after the BGP had robbed her goats, said “the BGP and the military are not public servants but trained and licensed robbers.”
 
General Khin Nyunt
Similar robbery is non-stop going since long time. Once while General Khin Nyunt was a major, his battalion has robbed a shop in Maungdaw north. The shop owner along with village chairman have complained the case to the Major Khin Nyunt, the robbery was value of 360 Kyats, he took the list of the materials and checked his forces but neither returned the materials nor fined them. The shop owner is still alive and the chairman passed away but can’t name for security reason.
 
Retired General & NLD leader U Tin Oo
U Tin Oo, NLD’s most eldest person, was a powerful “Robber” while he was in operation along Maungdaw north. His military was looting entire market of the village meanwhile some snacks from a poor man was taken by U Tin Oo, in market of Ngan Chaung village tract of Maungdaw north, one of his puppets said.
“For about U Tin Oo, I was with him full time, he was a big robber and criminal, today he is one of the most senior leaders of ruling party, said founder of NLD” his puppet said.


“Unfortunately, we are luckless, all the criminals, liars and robbers are leading the country, peoples may not ever feel secure, peace and harmony” a senior Rohingya activist said.
