Dozens of Rohingya women were harassed and gang raped by
Myanmar security forces at Kyaungtaung (Kiyantaung) village track, in northern
Buthidaung township. The rapes and assault were noted to hold from 4th to 12th
May during the visit of extremist and gang-star Monk Wirathu to northern Arakan
state according to "Arakan Watch" media.

The joint forces included Hlunting (Police force called
BGP) & Myanmar Army, harassed, tortured and gang rapped the women while
their men have escaped for the fear of mass arrest, torture and killing. The
atrocities were too horror and pathetic that the local villagers couldn’t
mentioned any longer. The villages are too far from the mobile network and
peoples are also mostly farmer.
The lists of the Rohingya women gang-raped victims are

All of them are from Kyaungtaung (Kiyantaung), Model
village.

Fara.
This systematic torture, atrocities, extra-judicial
killings and gang rapes are the daily phenomena in Arakan. It got momentum in
manifold since recent Wirathu’s visit to the Northern Arakan state.
