Innocent Rohingya woman jailed for 6 months

An Innocent Rohingya woman has been jailed for 6 months as she has been explained and proved about her husband with 2 others were killed by Myanmar Military then burned.

It was November 13, 2016, Abdu Salam s/o Aminuddin from KyagongTaung village track, Northern Maungdaw with two others were shot dead then burned in Abdu Salam’s house while Myanmar’s Military carried out so call clearance operation on Rohingya villages along the area.

Salma Khatu, wife of Abdu Salam has explained to the international diplomats and reporters, while they were visiting there, expressed in detail and proved the place where her husband and 2 others were buried (mass grave) by Myanmar Army.

According the video clip shared above, Salma Khau has been jailed for 6 months by Myanmar government in Maungdaw judge court.


Most of the victims have been escaped to the refugee camps into neighboring Bangladesh. Human rights organizations and medias including Ms Yanghee Lee have interviewed many victims there in Refugee camps.

“Jailing the victim is most cruel and warning to the victims to be closed their mouths forever” Rohingya Activists said.

“We can’t raise voice to have justice” a Rohingya woman whose daughter is a raped victim said from the land.
