Myanmar Army raided into Rohingya village and established base temporary camp

A gang of Myanmar Military joint forces have raided Doe Tan (Ludaing) village track of northern Maungdaw on Saturday morning, May 20, 2017. A temporary military camp also established in the village.

According to the reliable source, about 60-70 members, equipped with heavy and modern arms have entered into the village and started raiding houses serially. They searched for hand-made tools made with metal, such as knives, spades, hoes, axes and swords in the houses. All the valuable ornaments and cash money are being looted by the joint forces.

The stocks of rice that belong to the villagers are being seized wherever they found. The raiding army members have looted hens, goats, food and fire woods from the villagers.

The joint forces are a group of Battalion No.532. The group have besieged the famous pond of the village namely ‘Vora pond’ then stationed there also built a temporary camp with plastic, wood and bamboo sticks surrounding the north- south and eastern side of the pond.
The group of joint forces were divided into 3 teams scattered to yards of each houses and kept themselves alert on every house in the village.

The villagers who were arrested have been released this afternoon after proper inquiry. They are passing their days in an unbearable horror situation in their houses.
