At least two Rohingya men were cruelly killed and one injured in Ashikkapara of Maungdaw North by unknown murderers on 30 June 2017.

According to our correspondent report, a group of unidentified people stabbed and hacked three Rohingya residents of Ashikkapara where two of them died at the spot while other one is alive with severe injury.

The deceased were identified as Mohamed Ayas and Younus, sons of Mohamed Salam and the injured one is Mustak Ahamed of Ashikkapara village.

Source said to our correspondent, the killers wearing mask trapped down the three men and hacked and stabbed them indiscriminately where two died and one injured.

The injured one was rushed to Maungdaw General Hospital for treatment. But the family members are in sorrow that the victim is not getting appropriate treatment at the hospital as the doctors are from Buddhist religions who hate the Rohingya Muslims bitterly.

It has not been confirmed yet who are behind the incidents of the two murdered men and the other injured one.

But, when contacted, villagers suspected that the incident was occurred by Myanmar government forces or Rakhine extremists to accuse the innocent Rohingya people in the murder case.

Several incidents of Rohingya murder have been occurred within the last four months which has arisen suspicion to the Rohingya that the Myanmar soldiers or Rakhine miscreants are involved in such brutalities.

The incidents are intentionally taken place by the soldiers and Rakhine people to involve the innocent Rohingya and tarnish the images and views of the entire Rohingya community toward the outside world.

Now the Rohingya residents are in terror since the incidents of murder are happening in daily basis in many areas of Maungdaw, Buthidaung and Rathedaung Townships, said the villagers to Arakan Times.
