forces, Rohingya influx into Bangladesh to save their lives
Myanmar still has been continuing intensified operation
in which the armed forces are conducting arson attack and atrocities against
Rohingyas forcing tens of thousands of people flee to neighboring Bangladesh.

Rohingya homes at Dewanali village Badaga union under BGP sector-4 in Maungdaw

The joint forces have set fire to the Rohingya homes at
Tulatuli village of Northern Maungdaw and Mingizee village of Buthidaung north
at around 8: 00 am today which are still burning, according to eye witnesses.
Several disable old men and children who are unable to
walk are also believed to have been in the fire because the relatives of those
families who could somehow flee their homes are searching their children and
old men but can’t find, source says.
More than one thousands Rohingya so far been killed since
the fresh attack of Myanmar army and more than three thousands homes have been
torched where tens of thousands of Rohingya became homeless taking refuge into
the forest and facing dangers there as well and suffering acute food crisis. Hundreds of children and old men are believed to have been died into the forest
without due to food crisis.
In 2012, Rakhine extremists torched the Rohingya villages
in Sittwe and caused tens of thousands of Rohingya displaced who are still
languishing in the displacement camps in dire situation and they are not
allowed to return to their respective homes of origin.
Similarly, the Myanmar government has taken the decision
to make the Rohingya IDPs and mostly flee to neighboring Bangladesh and the
main policy Myanmar government is to eradicate the Rohingya from the soil of
Arakan.
Correspondent says that tens of thousands of Rohingya
have been waiting at the zero point, no man’s land to cross over to Bangladesh
seeking safety refuge due to arson attack and atrocities of Myanmar military in
Northern Arakan.
Those asylum seekers are waiting at the no man’s land
where they are neither allowed to enter Bangladesh nor return to their homes
back owing to continuous gun firing aiming at the Rohingya.
Correspondent adds, “I could also hear from
Bangladesh border side that the Myanmar armed forces firing gun shots
indiscriminately inside Myanmar. Fearing the gun shots and atrocities, the
Rohingya fled the village to enter Bangladesh and waiting at the border where
their entry into Bangladesh is not allowed by BGB. Now they have fallen into
dilemma at the border”.
A Rohingya who crossed over to Bangladesh said to our
correspondent, few people were shot to death but mostly were slaughtered by
Myanmar army and Rakhine extremists.
Though the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGBs) are ensuring
tight security with a view to preventing entry of Rohingya influx into
Bangladesh, more than 10, 000 Rohingya have already entered Bangladesh through
the land border of Naikhonchury, Bandorban since the inception of fresh
violence against Rohingya in Northern Arakan.
But, the Rohingya of Southern and surrounding Maungdaw,
Buthidaung and Rathedaung who are desperately trying to cross over to
Bangladesh are not able enter due to nautical border and tight security of BGB,
says a local man in Teknaf.
