Rohingya refugees stage demonstration in Kutupalong new camps

Thousands of Rohingya refugees have staged a demonstration in Kutupalong new makeshift camp of Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar today 11 December 2017.

According to our correspondent report, thousands of refugee men including women and children took part in the demonstration where they held banners written their demands on them.
The demands of Rohingya refugee children are as follows; To stop killing innocent Rohingyas, to ensure security for the future of the children and to take urgent action against the killers.

They staged the demonstration demanding UN Security Forces in Arakan before repatriation, involvement of UN, HRW, Bangladesh and Rohingyas’ activists in the repatriation process, no accusation against Rohingya regarding past events, to restore the ethnicity of Rohingya and nationality, to stop genocide and take action against the criminals, to give equal rights to Rohingya as other ethnic minority groups, to give compensation of their losses and ensure security for their lives in their motherland.

They continued the demonstration for more than one hour where they chanted their slogans.

The demonstration was organized by some conscious general refugees to remind the world through demonstration what they want before their repatriation to their motherland.
It was their 2nd day of demonstration in Kutupalong new makeshift camps, said a participant of the demonstration.
