Myanmar security forces are continued segregation and persecution on remaining Rohingyas

On July 21, the BGP
along with military forces of Battalion 352 surrounded the Pyin Taung village
tract of Buthidaung and conducted raid/checked in every houses of the village
then left at 9:00 am but found nothing illegal in any house, says a villager.

Myanmar security
forces of military and Border Guard Police are still conducting various kinds
of systematic persecutions against Rohingya Muslims in villages under
Buthidaung, according to reliable reports.
On July 20, BGP and
military jointly extorted huge amount of money from the following shopkeepers
without any fault or legal ground.

The security forces
entered various villages of Buthidaung and extort money alleging in false cases
on daily basis, says a shop owner from Buthidaung Township.
Such kinds of systematic
persecution against Rohingya community are used to create very often to compel
the Rohingyas to flee to Bangladesh.
