Myanmar agrees to receive Rohingyas

Myanmar government has agreed to receive the refugees who have fled to Bangladesh following atrocities and arson attack of Myanmar armed forces after 25 August, according to Foreign Minister, Abul Hasan Mahmood Ali of Bangladesh.
He said this to the journalists after the meeting with the visiting Myanmar cabinet minister, Kyu Tin Shwe at the National Guest House in the afternoon.

The discussion began between Myanmar – Bangladesh after 11:00 am.

During the meeting, Home Minister, Asaduzzam Khan Kamal, Foreign Minister, Mohamed Shahriar Alam, Foreign Secretary, Mohamed Shahidul Hoque, Secretary of Spoke person of Prime Minsiter’s Office and Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser Promuk were present.

Besides, two top level government officials of Myanmar were present with the cabinet minister during the meeting.

Emerging after the meeting, the minister for home said, the discussion between the two countries was fruitful. Myanmar has agreed to receive the Myanmar nationals to Myanmar.

For this purpose, the two countries will form a joint agreement and working group.

In light of the agreement, the working group will repatriate the Rohingyas through verification process   and I am hopeful in this discussion, he said.
Besides, there was bipartite discussion in the meeting between both the countries.

Bangladesh foreign minister will soon visit Myanmar for a crucial discussion regarding security issue of both the countries. Bangladesh said, it is zero tolerance for us about the terrorism, said in the meeting.
