Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General Major
General Abul Hossain said that Myanmar violated international law and organized
a military rally in the zero point of the border.
BGB Director said this after the inauguration of
Composite BOP (Playground and Auditorium) at Shalcona in Jessore`s Sharsha
upazila on Friday night.
BGB Director General Major General Abul Hossain said that
we told them by holding a flag meeting that you cannot force the army to cross
the border without violating international law. You cannot even shoot at the
border. You must be careful about these things. It is not uncommon for a
country to provoke incitement in another country.
General Abul Hossain also said Bangladesh will be
transformed into a prosperous country in 2041. We have arranged BGB to be a
border guard of that country. We are always on the border in the vigilance.
Based on Digital Bangladesh, we have implemented Surveillance System and Smart
Border Management System for our Border Protection.
BGB Deputy Director Brig. Anisur Rahman, Regional
Commander Brig. Khalid Al Mamun, Khulna Sector Commander Colonel Touhidul
Islam, Jessore 49 BGB Commanding Officer Lt. Colonel Ariful Haque were also
presented in theinauguration of Composite BOP .
